Graduate, The Center for Training in Psychotherapy

I'm a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapists (CAPT) and have 24 years of psychotherapeutic clinical experience working with individuals. I have specialized in performance anxiety, issues of self esteem, depression, anxiety, and complications related to older-age distress.
My career base has been in Arts Performance for the last 40 years. While a flautist with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, I completed seven years as a student at the Centre for Psychotherapy (CTP), and upon graduation from Center for Training in Psychotherapy retired from the TSO. As an orchestral musician, I've gained valuable experience in the art of listening, the benefits of "team work", and the power of individual and shared expression.
With my clients, I've enjoyed discovering their own unique means of expression. Working with issues of self doubt, low self esteem, roadblocks to their creativity, performance anxiety, varying levels of depression, and a deep desire for more facility in personal expression, we're able to come closer to 'dwelling in possibility'. We might use writing, art work, dreams, psychodrama and drumming to facilitate reaching even more deeply into the often hidden recesses of their creative unconscious.
I see the therapeutic hour as an opportunity to witness and support my clients in their desire for more self knowledge, more self acceptance, and more hope in realizing their own vision of future goals
