I'm a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapists (CAPT) and have 24 years of psychotherapeutic clinical experience working with individuals. With forty years of previous Arts performance experience as an orchestral player, I've specialized my therapy in the areas of performance anxiety, issues of self-esteem, anxiety and depression, and lately have included working with complications related to older age distress.

At this time, I am limiting my practice to working with older adults who are seeking short-term therapy. I'd be happy to speak with you in person or online.

My career base has been in Arts Performance for the last 40 years. While a flautist with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, I completed seven years as a student at the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy (CTP) and upon graduation, retired from the TSO to pursue a full-time career as a psychotherapist. With many years of professional orchestral playing, I've gained valuable awareness in the art of listening, the benefits of "teamwork", and the power of individual and shared expression.

With my clients, I've enjoyed discovering with them their own unique means of expression, coming closer to dwelling in the possibility of having a greater creative voice for themselves.

I see the therapeutic hour as an opportunity to witness and support my clients in their desire for more self knowledge, more self acceptance, and more hope in realizing their vision of future goals.

Please leave me a voicemail at 416.912.8552 or contact me using this form and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Limited openings to older adults seeking short-term therapy.
