You know what’s on your mind. You know what keeps calling for your attention. This is where our therapeutic conversation can begin.

In slowing things down and taking the time to attentively listen, we further develop our capacity to understand our own experience. We feel what before we couldn’t, we learn to recognize, make sense of, and to reach beyond now outgrown patterns of behaviour; we find our words. We dare to try, to trust, and not just repeat; we begin choosing to get out of our own way; and so we grow.

Greater self-expression and self-acceptance, more enriching relationships, the possibility of a fuller, more meaningful and creative life; these, I believe, can be some of the benefits of psychotherapy.

Many years of experience working with both individuals and with couples continue to confirm my belief that it is within the context of a solid, supportive, and collaborative therapeutic relationship that we can find our way back to the fundamental importance of open and honest human conversation – conversation with our therapist, with ourselves, with those we hold dear, and those we have yet to understand, even with those we have come to see that there is nothing further to say.

In your search for a psychotherapist, trust that you will know when you find the right one for you.

Originally from Montreal, je travaille également en français.

I am a graduate of The Centre for Training in Psychotherapy (CTP) in Toronto. I also hold a Masters degree in Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. In addition to my professional training, I am drawn in my ongoing and life-long learning to literature, art, languages and culture, to creativity and the wonder of nature.
