About Our Therapists
The Spadina Therapy Centre has 24 psychotherapists, counsellors, and massage therapists. All provide a safe, respectful and non-judgmental approach to working with their clients.
These therapists:
- Have extensive training, including such training institutes as the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy, the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, the University of Toronto School of Social Work, the Toronto Institute for Human Relations, the Integral Healing Centre of Toronto, the Bioenergetics Institute, and the Institute for Core Energetics.
- Have a broad range of life experience. This means that we understand the problems of modern day living from personal experience, and most of us have had previous work experience in other professions.
- Adhere to a professional code of ethics and standards of practice.
- Are committed to personal growth.
- Undertake ongoing professional development in order to learn new approaches and remain open to new developments in psychological theory.
- Are fully insured.
